ok, so yeah, i'm not so good at the blog thing. but, in the interest of keeping a journal of the goings on here in the land of no external light, please enjoy an update...
first, I finally have a studio logo, and it rules.
so this is Microphone Action Squad guy. obviously i dont have a name for him. he's so awesome, he needs a name, help me out, give me some ideas in the comments won't you? stickers and t-shirts to follow...
october 8-13, 2009 found the studio as full as possible with amazing musicans and amazing music. over a year of talk/planning/and hoping finally was realized in 5 days of great music and unreal performances. the group you see above, plus many many more all came together to record an album of hymns and spirituals. i hope this is only the beginning of something that you will hear much more of, but for now let me just show you some pictures and a nice long list of those who gave freely of their talents and time.

soon after the last note rang out, who should show up but neon trees. the last week and a half was spent recording a 5 song ep, set to come out very soon. just as soon as i can finish mixing i suppose.
